Finally I've found some time to update the blog.
There is so many topics that I've covered during those few weeks and few of them are really worth a longer description.
Before I write down what is planned or almost ready to be published a few potentially useful links to stories I came across lately:
- 22 Confessions Of A Former Dell Sales Manager (ie. how to get a good deal - initially found via Slashdot article)
- 10 Linux Shell Tricks You Don't Already Know (very handy shell tricks)
So coming back to my plans... What was to/is/will be published - roughly of top of my head:
- Migrating Debian from Sarge to Etch with grsec turned on - wohooo, that was a nice crash :-)
- Overlaping libraries between Sarge and Etch - got a problem with MySQL after upgrading the distro in the step above and the solution is fairly simple - as usual... if you know it
- Moving data from Excel spreadsheets to SQL database - quite common situation in 'business world' - I think now I know why those non-techies call Excel spreadsheets a 'database' hmmmm...
Somewhere in the so called 'meantime' there was something about VoIP, XDA's, WiFi (again) and some other stuff I don't remember now... Anyway - that's something like a simple TO DO list. I just hope I'll be able to do it in some reasonable future :)
